Mathle

Mathle is a daily number puzzle for people who enjoy Wordle-style logic and quick arithmetic. Each puzzle asks you to find one hidden addition or subtraction equation. This Mathle game is heavily inspired by Wordle and Primel.

How to play Mathle

Your goal is to find the hidden equation. Start with any valid addition or subtraction, then use the color feedback to improve your next guess.

Enter an equation

Tap the number buttons and choose either + or -. Your guess must read like a real equation, such as 28+47=075.

Submit your guess

When all eight boxes are filled and the math is correct, press Enter to check the row.

Read the color hints

After you submit a row, each tile gives you a hint. Green is correct, yellow is in the answer but in another box, and gray is not used in the hidden equation.

Mathle turns a short arithmetic problem into a daily logic challenge. Instead of guessing a word, you use numbers, +, and - to uncover the exact hidden equation.

When does the daily puzzle reset?

A new Mathle puzzle becomes available every day at 00:00. Your current progress is saved locally in this browser until the next puzzle is ready.

What can I enter as a guess?

Each guess must be a complete addition or subtraction, using digits, one + or - sign, and the fixed equals sign. The equation must be mathematically correct before it can be submitted.

Are there hourly or infinite modes?

Yes, hourly and infinite modes are planned, but they are still in development. For now, Mathle focuses on one daily puzzle.
